New Construction

Often, new, modern homes are built a bit too hastily. An inspector is absolutely going to catch something that the builder missed – Every. Single. Time.

Without fail, there’s either an appliance that doesn’t function, something incorrectly installed, or several roof tiles that are loose, lights that don’t work, etc.

However, please note: be certain all water and electrical are functional prior to the inspector arriving. If an appliance is not installed, it cannot be checked. If water is not functional, or electrical is incomplete, etc … it can’t be checked. And you’ll have to schedule a second inspection after those items are activated.

This is not a final walk-thru, but the initial inspection.

If the new home you’re planning to buy is already complete, our inspection will verify all systems and features are installed correctly. We check for missing insulation, air infiltration, water pipe leaks, faulty wiring, etc. It is a standard home inspection.
